e) LinkedIn Insight Tag

We use LinkedIn’s Insight Tag provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (“LinkedIn”).

Data Processing Using LinkedIn’s Insight Tag
The LinkedIn Insight Tag provides information to us about the visitors of our website. If a website visitor is also registered on LinkedIn, we may analyze the visitor’s key professional data (e.g. career level, business size, country, location, industry and occupation) to adjust our website better to these target groups. Furthermore, LinkedIn Insight Tags allows us to measure whether visitors to our website make purchases or perform other activities (conversion measurement). Conversion measurement may also be conducted across devices (e.g. from PCs to tablets).

LinkedIn Insight Tag also offers a retargeting function through which we can display targeted ads to visitors of our website outside of our website. Persons to whom ads are displayed are not identified, according to LinkedIn.

LinkedIn also collects so-called logfiles (URL, referrer URL, IP address, device and browser features and time of access). IP addresses are shortened or (if used to target LinkedIn across devices) hashed (pseudonymized). Direct identifiers of LinkedIn members are erased by LinkedIn after 7 days. The remaining pseudonymized data is erased after 180 days.

The data collected by LinkedIn cannot be assigned to individuals by us, the website operator. LinkedIn stores the personal data collected about website visitors on servers in the US and uses this data for its own marketing measure. For further details, please see LinkedIn’s Privacy Policy at https://www.linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy#choices-oblig .

Data transmissions to the US are based on the standard contract clauses of the European Commission. For further details, please see: https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/dpa and https://www.linkedin.com/legal/l/eu-sccs .

For this purpose, various usage data are processed, such as IP address, page views, time spent, operating system used and origin of the user, information about the ad on which a person clicked on TikTok or an event that was triggered (timestamp). This data is summarized in a user ID and assigned to the respective end device of the website visitor.

The use of this tool is based on Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and § 25 (1) TTDSG. This consent can be revoked at any time.
